Veka Softline 76 MD Profile
Windows based on the Softline 76 profile have a shallower installation depth than the Softline 82 profile, while maintaining a slight reduction in the thermal coefficient. When using 5 chambers in the profile, the parameters were maintained at the level of Uf = 1.1W/m2K. The use of double-chamber glass units allows us to meet the conditions of the „Clean Air” program.

Profile
VEKA window profile system with multi-chamber geometry (5 chambers in the frame profile and 5 chambers in the sash profile) and an installation depth of 76 mm, ensuring an energy efficiency of Uf=1.1W/m2K. The thickness of the outer walls of the profile is 3 mm (with a tolerance of 0.2 mm), a parameter that complies with the highest RAL standards: „Class A*” (PN-EN 12608).
Insulation
Using glass with a heat transfer coefficient Ug=0.5 W/m2K, we can obtain Uw=0.82 W/m2K for the entire window. The profile system itself is characterized by the coefficient Uf = 1.1 W/m2K.
Glazing
Triple or double glazing with thicknesses of 18 to 48 mm allows glazing of door frames and leaves according to individual needs.
Reinforcement
The basic version windows have galvanised steel reinforcements in the closed frame (1.5 mm) and a specially curved sash with unprecedented durability (1.25 mm). This is the most important element that guarantees reliable and long-lasting operation of the windows.
Seals
The profile has three EPDM seals, including an additional central seal. EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer) – are characterized by much better parameters in terms of resistance to aging, high temperatures and resistance to external factors. In addition, EPDM gaskets do not crack, are ozone-resistant, have excellent tensile, tear and compression resistance, are available in black and, upon request, also in caramel or grey.
Window hardware
Proven Winkhaus hardware guarantees tight windows, including as standard:
- an anti-theft latch that prevents the sash from being balanced, making the window more secure
- a classic, easy-to-use aluminium handle
- each tilt-and-turn sash is equipped with micro-ventilation, which ensures control of room ventilation or gradual tilting

Accessories
Under-threshold strip: protects the edges of the frame from damage during transport and installation and also allows for correct mounting of the window sill.
Optional
- Hoppe Secustic handle, which for the first time uses a mechanism that blocks the rotation of the handle, which also protects the window against attempted burglary by moving the locking elements of the fittings from outside the room.
- Invisible fittings and hinges
- Anti-theft fittings of class RC1 and RC2
- „Warm edge” that improves thermal insulation at the edges of the glass and reduces the risk of temporary condensation of water vapor on them. As a result, the permissible relative humidity of the air can be higher by approximately 10-15%.
- Secure and burglar-resistant laminated glass, class P2, P4
