Veka Softline 82 MD Profile
UNITECH windows based on the VEKA Softline 82 profile system are a line dedicated especially to people who value classic design and a sober, neutral appearance. The softly outlined shapes and low height of the structure allow for better illumination of the room, and the 7-chamber structure guarantees adequate acoustic and thermal insulation. Thanks to its perfectly smooth surfaces and the material from which it is made, the window profile is completely resistant to weathering and ageing, and does not require painting.
Profile
VEKA window profile system with multi-chamber geometry (7 chambers in the frame profile and 6 chambers in the sash profile) and an installation depth of 82 mm, ensuring energy efficiency at the highest level (from energy-efficient houses to passive houses).
The thickness of the outer walls of the profile is 3 mm (with a tolerance of 0.2 mm), a parameter that meets the highest RAL standards – „Class A*” (PN-EN 12608).
Insulation
Using glass with a heat transfer coefficient Ug = 0.7 W/m2K and a linear heat transfer coefficient ψg = 0.050 W/mK, we will obtain Uw = 0.91 W/m2K for the entire window. With glass with Ug=0.4 W/m2K and ψg=0.035 W/mK we will obtain Uw=0.7 W/m2K. The profile system itself is characterized by the coefficient Uf = 1.0 W/m2K.
Glazing
Triple or double glazing with glass thicknesses of 24 to 52 mm allows glazing of frames and door leaves according to individual requirements.
Reinforcement
Basic version windows have galvanised steel reinforcements in the closed frame (1.5 mm) and a specially curved sash with unprecedented durability (1.25 mm). This is the most important element that guarantees reliable and long-lasting operation of the windows.
Seals
EPDM (Ethylopropylene glycol monomer) – are characterized by much better parameters in terms of resistance to aging, high temperatures and resistance to external factors. In addition, EPDM seals do not crack, are ozone-resistant, have excellent tensile, tear and compression strength, are available in black and, on request, also in caramel or grey.
Window fittings
Proven Winkhaus fittings guarantees tight windows, including as standard:
- an anti-theft latch that prevents the sash from being balanced, making the window more secure
- a classic, easy-to-use aluminium handle
- each tilt-and-turn sash is equipped with micro-ventilation, which ensures control of room ventilation or gradual tilting
Accessories
Under-threshold strip: protects the edges of the frame from damage during transport and installation and also allows for correct mounting of the window sill.
Optional
- Hoppe Secustic handle, which for the first time uses a mechanism that blocks the rotation of the handle, which also protects the window against attempted burglary by moving the locking elements of the fittings from outside the room.
- Invisible fittings and hinges
- Anti-theft fittings of class RC1 and RC2
- „Warm edge” that improves thermal insulation at the edges of the glass and reduces the risk of temporary condensation of water vapor on them. As a result, the permissible relative humidity of the air can be higher by approximately 10-15%.
- Secure and burglar-resistant laminated glass, class P2, P4
- Reflective ornamental glass
