Veka Perfectline 70 Profile
One of the most popular profiles on the market, which has enjoyed an unshakable position in its class for years. Veka Perfectline is a solid and economical alternative to wooden windows, and the easy-care profiles made of high-quality PVC guarantee long-lasting use (100% recyclable material). This profile is perfect for both residential and office applications. Thanks to the slightly reduced frame height, the glass surface is larger than in other systems, which positively influences adequate lighting in the interior.
Profile
A complete 5-chamber system (5 chambers in the frame profile and 5 chambers in the sash profile) with a construction depth (i.e. frame width) of 70 mm, ensuring a very high level of thermal protection.
The thickness of the outer walls of the profile is 3 mm (with a tolerance of 0.2 mm), a parameter that meets the highest RAL standards – „Class A” (PN-EN 12608).
Insulation
When using a warm frame glass package with Ug = 1.0, we will obtain a heat transfer coefficient of Uw = 1.2 W/m2K for the entire window, while with Ug = 1.1, the value of Uw = 1.3.
When using glazing with a lower Ug coefficient, it is possible to achieve Uw<1.0 W/m2K. (Data according to DIN-EN 10077.
The „U” values refer to windows with dimensions 1230 x 1480 mm, i.e. with an area of 1.82 m2).
Glazing
Possibility of using glazing with a thickness of 6 to 42 mm without the need for additional profiles.
Reinforcement
Basic version windows have galvanized steel reinforcements in the closed frame (1.5 mm) and a specially curved sash with unprecedented durability (1.25 mm). This is the most important element that guarantees reliable and long-term operation of the windows.
Seals
EPDM (Ethylopropylene glycol monomer) – are characterized by much better parameters in terms of resistance to aging, high temperatures and resistance to external factors.
In addition, EPDM seals do not crack, are ozone-resistant, have excellent tensile, tear and compression strength, are available in black and, on request, also in caramel or grey.
Window hardware
Proven Winkhaus hardware guarantees tight windows, including as standard:
- an anti-theft latch that prevents the sash from being balanced, making the window more secure
- a classic, easy-to-use aluminium handle
- each tilt-and-turn sash is equipped with micro-ventilation, which ensures control of room ventilation or gradual tilting
Accessories
Under-threshold strip: protects the edges of the frame from damage during transport and installation and also allows for correct mounting of the window sill.
Optional
- Hoppe Secustic handle, which for the first time uses a mechanism that blocks the rotation of the handle, which also protects the window against burglary attempts by moving the locking elements of the fittings from outside the room.
- Invisible fittings and hinges
- Anti-theft fittings class RC1 and RC2
- „Warm edge”, which improves thermal insulation at the edges of the glass and reduces the risk of temporary condensation of water vapour on them. As a result, the permissible relative humidity of the air can be higher by approximately 10-15%.
